Audience: Applications and systems programmers required to develop skills in C++ programming.

Duration: 5 days

Course Abstract:

This course uses lecture/lab to cover:

o C++ extension of the C language.

o Data abstraction.

o Function overloading.

o In-Line code generation.

o User type definition.

o Polymorphic code.

o Virtual functions and formalized free storage management.

Course Objectives:

Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to:

o Use and apply the concepts of data abstraction.

o Use and apply the features of C++ to implement an object oriented program design.

o Write a complete application in C++.

o Using Functions in C++.

o Defining and Using Classes.

o Constructors and Destructors.

o Stream Library.

o Derived Classes.

o Virtual Functions.

o Using C and C++ together.

Class Format: Lecture/Lab

Prerequisites:

Experience in writing programs in the C language

Basic training takes 5 months. Employee is working with experienced workers 8 to 9 weeks. After that she or he start to work independent under close supervision of the project leader. Usually after 5 months new employee is able to work on his own.
